Diet quality may improve adolescent attention capacity

The researchers recruited nearly 400 adolescents between the ages of 12 and 17 from Spain, Germany, France, Austria, and Sweden. They examined their attention capacity and assessed their dietary intake.

Nutrition may solve child aggression, but does anyone care?

Mental health researchers Dr. Bonnie Kaplan and Dr. Julia Rucklidge recently wrote an article highlighting a new study that shows nutrition may reduce aggression and violence in children.

Research shows what we eat may affect how we feel

Korean researchers recently published a study in the Journal of the American College of Nutrition showing a link between what we eat and our emotional state.

The researchers studied the nutritional habits and emotional states of over 200 school children. They collected nutritional data from food questionnaires and dietary checklists, Emotional state data had been gathered through depression and anxiety questionnaires, electroencephalograph, and heart rate measurements.
