The Great Recession of the last 6 years had a far-reaching economic impact on millions of people, including many Truehope participants. People have lost their homes, their jobs, and even their families.
Here at Truehope, we took every effort we could to offer our participants a high-quality, natural product at the lowest possible price while still providing a top-notch support program despite the poor economic climate. Not only did we continue to operate our Truehope Wellness Program, but we have not raised our product prices in 6 years.
Recently, we have been feeling mounting pressure to raise our prices. Raw materials have increased in cost, prompting our manufacturer to increase their prices. We have delayed raising our product prices as long as we could, and many long hours of debate have taken place regarding price increases.
Unfortunately, we are unable to absorb these cost increases any longer, and effective 9 February 2013, we’ll introduce modest increases to our products.
This has been a difficult decision for us, and we know it’s going to be hard for some of our participants. We’ll try to make the transition for them as manageable as possible. Even so, we feel that these modest increases will still allow us to provide our products at as low a price as possible while still providing an excellent support program to our participants.
