Stress in pregnant mothers may lead to low birth weight in their babies

Researchers in India recently published a study in the International Journal of Contemporary Pediatrics, showing a connection between stress of pregnant mothers and the health of their newborn babies.

The researchers studied the stress levels of 200 women and documented the birth weights and gestational age of their newborn babies.

What the researchers discovered was that women with higher stress levels tended to birth babies with lower birth weights and were more likely to birth preterm babies. Mothers between 20 and 30 years old and poor mothers were the most likely to experience stress.

The researchers suggested that “all pregnant mothers should be counselled to consume nutritious diet to deliver a normal healthy baby.”

In addition to pregnant mothers maintaining a nutritious diet, they should consider incorporating a high-quality multinutrient supplement, such as EMPowerplus Advanced, into their nutritional regimen.

EMPowerplus is a combination of 36 vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and antioxidants designed to support mental and physical well being.

Mothers who have taken EMPowerplus during pregnancy find that their babies reach a 9 or a 10 on the Apgar scale. Mothers who have had babies both pre EMPowerplus and post EMPowerplus say that the children are very different: their children born while taking EMPowerplus sleep better, function better cognitively, and are healthier overall compared to their children born while not taking EMPowerplus.

Truehope EMPowerplus is a 100% natural formula, and studies have shown that it’s safe and effective. Even so, anytime you start a new wellness initiative (including new supplements) while pregnant or nursing, you should always check with your doctor or healthcare specialist.
