2 natural solutions for allergy sufferers

This time of year is difficult for those suffering with allergies.

Many Truehope participants use various antihistamine products to deal with itchy or watery eyes, fatigue, headaches, and more. Unfortunately, many allergy products can result in euphoria, clumsiness, anxiety, insomnia, tremor, nausea, vomiting, constipation, diarrhea, dry mouth, dry cough, urinary retention, palpitations, hypotension, hallucination, and possibly even psychosis.

So what can be done to deal with allergies naturally?

Grape seed extract

Some people have experienced significant relief from taking grape seed extract, a powerful antioxidant. And grape seed extract won’t interfere with EMPowerplus.

Quercetin

Dr. Estelle Toby Goldstein, M.D., an EMPowerplus user and allergy sufferer, wrote to us with the following:

I discovered quercetin for myself a few years ago, when trying to deal with my own troublesome seasonal allergies. Pollens caused sneezing, watery eyes, runny nose every time I was anywhere near flowers, and I love flowers. All regular antihistamines were just too sedating for me.

Quercetin is a bioflavonoid; it occurs naturally in oranges. In laboratory testing, it is a very strong mast cell inhibitor; that means, it stops the mast (histamine secreting) cells from secreting histamine in the first place. It is available over the counter, which is a very good thing since I cannot possibly imagine how someone could eat enough oranges to get its positive effects. The usual effective dose is about 500mg twice daily, although some folks need a bit more. It is not only effective, but can be taken with vitamins, including EMPowerplus without any kind of an interaction or toxicity problem as far as I know.
