The Foundation for Excellence in Mental Health Care funds and facilitates research in mental health.

According to fund advisor and mental health researcher, Dr. Bonnie Kaplan, the foundation has distributed $560,000.00 to date. But it isn’t enough. Research has stalled because of a lack of funding. Dr. Kaplan reports that the foundation could still use at least $250,000. Such funding could make a difference in encouraging recovery-based mental health research.
