Alyson’s success story: recurring major depression

Alyson had a nervous breakdown when she was 16. Later, when she started having children, she noticed increasing mental health problems. By the time she had her fourth child, she went to her doctor about these issues. Her doctor diagnosed her with depression (which was changed to recurring major depression as time went on) and put her on medication. The medication removed emotion from Alyson’s life, and she felt like a zombie. At one point, she was taking 7 medications, but the depression never went away, and she found herself in and out of psychiatric wards. Then a friend told her about Truehope, and her life changed.
